Finding the hidden gold mine

Today i am going to show you how to rake in more profits from a gold mine that is already under your nose but is currently invisible to you eyes.

Every entrepreneur  is capable of running two successful  businesses, however most people's focus is on business number 1. What are your two businesses, and how can you find business number 2 and rake big profits from it?

Your first business is your main business e.g. treating patients if you are a doctor or managing the financial affairs of your clients if you are an accountant. Your second business is the one you automatically qualify to be in as a result of the first business.

An accountant, for instance, has to know a lot about taxes, cash flow management, and financial reporting just to help his clients effectively. In addition to helping improve health through spinal adjustments, a chiropractor also needs the necessary management skills to run a chiropractic practice.

The "hidden gold mine" in your business is the knowledge you need in order to sell your main product/service. This knowledge can be turned into gold by sharing it with the world for a price. i.e. this knowledge can give birth to a lucrative consultancy business!!

A personal trainer, for instance, could, for a reasonable fee, show local corporations how to run an effective wellness program for their employees.

He might only be able to charge his training clients $50 to $100 an hour. But a corporate client might pay him a whopping $5 000 for just a couple of days work!!

Its a no-brainer that large companies have deeper pockets than individuals paying for their own training. And the benefits to the company of sponsoring such a program are numerous e.g increased productivity and high morale.

Evaluate your business or job. Do you know something that others also want to know? Of course you do. Don't let this wisdom waste away, share it with the world and get paid for it! You can package it as speeches, e-books, audio-programs, workshops etc...

Case in point: Travis McFee, a successful dentist, decided to show other dentists how to make more money. He made a small fortune with his Profitable Dentist conferences, newsletter, and products.

Here are some steps you can to take to convert your knowledge into a lucrative consulting business:

1. First, identify the knowledge you have that is in demand. This is typically knowledge about how to run your type of business (e.g. a copywriter can teach "how to make money writing online") or about your skill, service, or expertise.

2. Next, who is your target market? Will you sell your consulting services to individuals or businesses? If businesses, what type of companies will you target?

3. Decide how you will deliver your information to your potential clients. Will you teach public seminars or you will conduct tele-seminars? or maybe you will conduct online training classes for corporate employees?

4. How much will you charge? You'll discover what the market will bear as you progress. But at the beginning how much should you ask for? Fees differ from industry to industry, but $250 a day is not a bad starting point.

The best part about all this is that the bulk of your work as a consultant can be done in the comfort of your own home!

To your success..........
